Performing Arts

There are so many music and drama opportunities that await you. Here is a sample of what’s on offer:

MUSIC

Junior School Ensembles

Junior School groups include string, vocal, band and marimba ensembles and most rehearse before school. Some of these groups have the opportunity to perform at various soirees, eisteddfods and festivals throughout the year. There are also concert performances that various groups are invited to attend.

Senior School Ensembles

As with Junior School, Senior School students have many opportunities to be involved. Auditioned and non-auditioned choirs, bands and orchestras are an important part of our co-curricular program. Rehearsals are held before and after school and during lunchtimes (depending on the ensemble). Performances at soirees, eisteddfods and festivals and Music Camp are highlights of the year.

Whole School

Instrumental lessons are available on just about any instrument you can think of and happen during the school day. The enrolment process is very simple and is done online. If required, we also have instruments that are available for hire at an additional charge.

DRAMA

Junior School

Productions in Junior School are always highly anticipated and such fun events. There are productions for Prep – Year 2, Years ¾, Year 5 Drama Showcase and Year 6 production.

Senior School

Similar to music, drama plays a big role in Senior School co-curricular events. Students are invited to audition for the Year 7 and 8 Play, Year 9 and 10 Play or Senior School production which is a combined event with Trinity Grammar School.

On top of these, we have our combined school Musical which is also done with Trinity Grammar School. All productions provide students with exposure to both on stage and backstage demands.
