Prep-Year 6 Digital Device Information

Junior School students at Ruyton Girls’ School are allocated a School-owned device. Students will be allocated the device within the first week at Ruyton during class time.

A Parent/Guardian of a student is required to read and agree to the School Owned Digital Device Agreement prior to their Daughter starting at Ruyton. Your Daughter won't be able to receive her device until this form has been agreed to online.

What devices will my daughter get?

Students entering the Junior School at Ruyton Girls’ School will be issued the following School-owned devices and accessories for their use throughout the year:

• Apple iPad
• School supplied case for iPad
• Genuine Apple USB Power Adapter
• Genuine Apple Lightning Cable

When will my daughter receive her device?

The School Owned Digital Device Agreement must be read and agreed to online prior to students receiving their device. Form will be sent via email prior to device pick up.

Devices will be distributed to students in class in the first week of their commencement.

Will there be any training?

Students will be shown within class how to operate the devices by their classroom teachers.

Apple ID

To allow for the distribution and management of School-owned software to the devices, all students are required to have an Ruyton Apple ID created and managed by the school. Students new to Ruyton will have this setup for them by the Ruyton ICT staff and details will be provided to them upon receiving their device.

Are there additional fees for digital devices and software?

The cost of digital devices and software are included in the school fees and there are no additional fees.
