Promotions Policy

All girls are expected to apply themselves consistently to their studies. It is essential that they reach a level of competence that will ensure a strong foundation for their VCE.  Promotion is not automatic and is conditional upon acceptable academic progress and at the discretion of the staff concerned. The School may require a student to undertake a modified course of study or to repeat the year.

Years 7-10: For automatic promotion from one year to the next, girls must be performing at ‘C’ level or above in a prescribed number of subjects, including English.

Year 11: For promotion from one year to the next, girls are expected to be performing at ‘C’ level or above in English and three other subjects.
