Mary Poppins 2025 — Ruyton Girls' School

Thank you so much for your interest in the Ruyton and Trinity Senior School Musical for 2025, Mary Poppins!

The stage production of MARY POPPINS was brilliantly adapted from the wonderful stories by PL Travers and the original film. With a timeless score by Richard M Sherman and Robert B Sherman including the classic songs; Jolly Holiday, Step in Time, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Feed the Birds with new songs and additional music and lyrics, including Practically Perfect.

Audition time is strictly limited so use your time to show the panel what you can do. No extra time will be available. The panel will be looking for vocal quality, range and pitch as well as dramatic and movement ability.
Audition pieces should be well prepared. Remember, it is in your own interests to present yourself well.
All auditions are private and may only be attended by the panel and auditionees.

Auditions & Callbacks for Dance will be held in VC.LG.007
Holding Room to wait until your audition is the Library, or Theory Room in Verrocchi Centre
You can wear your PE Uniform (Ruyton students, permitted all day of Auditions. Trinity, we have male change room facilities for you)
It’s important for us that anyone who accepts a role in this show is available for rehearsals as required. Please advise of any prior commitments on your audition form.

Step 1: Sign up for an Audition

Sign up for ONE Dance Audition (45 minutes)
Sign up for ONE Singing/Acting Audition (5 minutes)

Ensure you don't book your Dance Audition for the same time as your Singing/Acting Audition! You cannot be in two places at one time!

Step 2: Complete the Audition Form

Step 3: Learn the Audition material

See the above links for Singing and Acting materials. Audition pieces should be well prepared. Remember, it is in your own interests to present yourself well.

Mr Jones & Ms Kane-Priestley are running optional Audition Preparation sessions to help learn the Singing and Acting Material at lunchtime on Tuesday 11 February and Thursday 13 February in VC.LG.008

There is no prior content to learn for the Dance Audition.
