Physical Education:
As students progress into Year 10, the Physical Education program evolves to reflect their changing interests and the broader trends in physical activity—particularly with a focus on engaging teenage girls. The curriculum adopts an inquiry-based approach, using physical activity as a platform to explore deeper themes related to health, wellbeing, and personal development.
The program aims to:
- Foster teamwork, resilience, problem-solving, decision-making, and self-esteem
- Create an inclusive environment where all students can experience success through participation
- Strengthen each student’s physical and health literacy, helping them understand and value the lifelong benefits of being physically active
